The Campbell River Gun Club presently has two
facilities for shooting.
The Indoor Range
is located in North Campbell River on the road to the Quinsam
Fish Hatchery.
The new Outdoor
facilities are located about 15 minutes west of Campbell
River on the Gold River Highway. The covered firing points on the 200 M
and 600 M ranges are
complete and the IPSC 'house' is also complete along with a 'Law
Enforcement' training facility. The Trap facility is also
in full operation along with a system of Black Powder trails .

Indoor Range
The Indoor Range facilities are located at 2600 Quinsam
Road in the North Campbell River area.
We have an indoor range with 6 positions where we can
shoot 22 rifle and pistol at 20 yards and can shoot up
to 7 positions of Air Rifle and Air Pistol.
The facilities have recently been renovated with a new
target line, new paint etc. The clubhouse also has
kitchen facilities and meeting / washroom areas. It is
available for rental for social functions when no club
activities are taking place.

Outdoor Range
The new outdoor
range facilities are located an easy 15 minute drive
West of Campbell River on the Gold River Highway.
Travel past Echo Lake and the old Camp 8 ( TimberWest )
then turn left at the road to Quinsam Coal. Proceed up
the road for two minutes and turn left at the Club
sign.( see map below ).
The range includes a Smallbore - 50
metre range, a 200 metre Centerfire range, a 600 metre
fullbore/silhouette range,
Practical Pistol, IPSC and Trap ranges. In the future we
hope to build a new clubhouse facility on the same
property with indoor Smallbore rifle and pistol ranges
being included.
The range is gated so a key is
required to enter. Keys are available at Odyssey
Computers in Town.( membership required )
The size of this new facility allows
the club to hold shoots on multiple ranges at the same
time without interference.
